Agarwood price depends on the quality of the chips. For perfume maker, the most important is resin content and scent of the chips. For sinking chips the contain of resin will be more if compare with the half sinking or non sinking chips. However, sinking chips extremely expensive if compare with others non-sinking chips. Thus economically, producer normally choose non-sinking but grade A for mass production of perfume.
Price for grade A sinking agarwood chips small piece: USD$4.5 – USD$7 per gram. (For burning and perfume making)
Price for non-sinking agarwood chips subintegra species: USD$5
Price for non-sinking agarwood chips others species vary from USD3 to USD$4 per gram.
For super grade A, the price can be reach USD$20 – USD$30 per gram.
